Abu Dhabi FM Radio Station, established by the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan in 1969, is the oldest Arabic radio station in the Gulf and the first radio station to broadcast live sports games.
Abu Dhabi FM Radio Station currently has one of the largest recording and data libraries amongst Arabian Gulf radio stations that serves as part of the national archive’s documentation of historic moments in the UAE.
